this bowl is misleading. I was aware that it was a slant design. I was not aware that this 8oz bowl only holds 4 ounces. I guess if it were at a tilt the slant would allow 8oz of liquid but when sitting on a table the way it was intended, the volume is cut in half.

A excellent Oval soup bowl used to serve soups of many kinds has a oval shape to it is wide enough to hold 12 ounces of any soup .

Nice looking bowl for salads or soup entree. More durable than they look or feel. They don't stack well more than 8 high or so

These bowls are too small for a salads but perfect for a single scoop of ice cream. Quality is good, no drips in glazing. Would purchase again.

Alright those are 8 oz bowl which we use for side salads, the color is bright white so it looks great when you have a variety of colors in the bowl. As far as chipping or cracks so far it is great no signs of wear.
