The airpots themselves stay hot for 4+ hours, and are good, but the hinge for the lid is really cheap plastic and breaks very easily, making it hard to secure the lid and have effective insulation and ability to pump the liquid.

Bought the decaf version just over a year ago & it stopped holding heat a few months ago. As a commercial airpot this should last for years. The Bunn airpots I had made it about 7 years. I guess you get what you pay for.

I had an airpot with a button lid. It took forever to fill a cup so I wanted to try a lever style instead. It's SO much easier to use and it fills cups twice as fast with half the effort!
