would rate a -100 if I could. terrible product!!! don't waste your money. how can you make a THERMAL carafe that does not keep liquids hot??? this is not new technology. I would like a refund!!! Webstaurant should not carry this product. I have been in coffee business for 27 year and can't believe this product is sold!

No, the capacity does not include the stem being placed in the airpot. If filling the airpot to maximum capacity, slight overflowing may occur when inserting the stem.
