I was thinking of a popcorn bowl for kids but noticed a 15oz bowl is too small for that. I think it is perfect for cereal or ice cream. It's light weight but not flimsy.

These melamine bowls case from Acopa looks like a little bowl but really it can contain 15oz, its finished is very clean and stronger than others, I really recommend this case.
