BUYER BEWARE: I purchased a sample plate to see how it looked in our space. It was nice and had texture. Some stone grey plates look almost plastic-like and have no texture like actual stone ware would have. I ordered $ worth of them for my first order. They were great. I ordered another $ a couple of weeks later and the plates we received were completely different than the original. These new ones were the light grey, cheap-looking plates I was trying to avoid. Even the material of the plate felt different, cheaper. Webstaurant customer service contacted the manufacturer and they were told by Acopa that the lighter ones we received were closer to what it should look like. If you look at the photo of the product on Webstaurant's site they look closer to the darker ones I received, but yet they should've looked closer to the lighter ones?! Either way, suffice to say, I'm now stuck with two sets of plates that look completely different from one another (see photo) and now I have to source a new plate to replace them because I don't trust what I commit to and spend money on will be consistent.
