We bought this board to use for charcuterie. After several uses we have been very pleased with them. A few things I should point out though - these boards are not really "live edge" as they say. That is when the wood uses the edge wood of the tree, giving it the original curviture of the tree. These boards have waviness carved into the edge, which is not really the same thing. Also, we had to sand these boards after getting them wet. This is common for new cutting boards, as some grains on wood naturally rise when wet. After a light sanding, the boards were smooth again and no longer become as rough when wet. However, you will need to re-oil them if you sand the boards. Overall, I recommend these boards. You can't beat the price and the look.
