This cake dome is very durable and attractive. It’s a little heavy but has not broken in 6 months of use. I use this for selling cupcakes. The slate base is versatile and attractive and I’m happy with my purchase of this product.

To clean this item, begin by hand washing it with a soapy sponge. Rinse and dry it thoroughly. To hide scratches and maintain it's original appearance, it's recommended to rub food grade mineral oil or olive oil onto the surface at least once a month. Mineral oil helps protect the integrity of the slate and maintains a slightly polished look.
