We love this cake stand. The base looks amazing in our bakery and we get so many compliments from our customers on it. It is the perfect size for the cake sell in slices and the slate is easy to clean.

I am very happy with the dome; it is a sturdy thickness of glass and will look good atop any kind of cake platter. The slate platter however arrived in the same box, broken, due to inadequate packing; it was at the bottom of the box and was not protected by the air pillows enveloping the dome. The dome was in perfect condition though.The stand was in fine condition too, and will support any kind of cake platter. I plan to keep and use the dome and stand with one of my own cake platters; the slate platter isn't really all that practical an idea anyway, since slate is brittle and chips/fractures easily. I give the dome and the stand 5 stars, but 2 stars off for poor packaging and the broken platter.

I absolutely love this stand. The rose gold adds such a nice accent to my kitchen,. The quality is also really good. The slates is great, and I really like the look of it.

This is a very simple cake riser, but it looks so elegant. There are two different sizes it's available in. I like the small one for cup cakes, and the big one for cakes.
